Silent Hill starts off with a nice graphic intro that sets the scene. You are driving your jeep with your young daughter along a winding road. It is very dark and there are no other vehicles on the road. You see a light in your rearview mirror'a headlight from a rapidly approaching motorcycle. As the motorcycle passes you, you see that it is a female police officer speeding past and off into the distance.
A few minutes later, you round a corner and see her bike crashed on the side of the road.
